FOLLOWING disappointing losses last weekend, Framesby and Grey High are set for an intriguing schools rugby clash at Grey tomorrow as they attempt to rediscover that winning touch.
The Westering school were outplayed by George outfit Outeniqua, losing 39-8, while Grey went down 22-3 to Bloemfontein rivals Grey College.
That match was marred by the muddy conditions and both sides will be hoping for a better playing surface this time to display their talents.
An interesting match-up will be that between flyhalves Gary Loest for Grey and Ernst Stapelberg.
Both players made the EP Craven Week side this year. They are skilful players and their duel could be the key to the outcome of the game.
In Uitenhage, Brandwag host Nico Malan.
Brandwag were narrowly edged by Oudtshoorn last week and they will be a tough proposition for the Humansdorp school on their home turf.
Muir are on the road for a tough clash against top Grahamstown school St Andrew’s.
Despite a couple of losses, the Andreans have produced some excellent results this season and were shaded by the Dale XV a week ago.
Despatch travel to PE for their clash with Cillie.
