THERE was an article in The Herald last month concerning the spike in vehicle thefts in the Bay ("Bay sees spike in vehicle thefts”, June 15).
On July 31 my Toyota Conquest was stolen in the vicinity of the North End Library. I was in the library for 10 minutes and when I came outside, the car was gone.
I have two nephews I look after, scratching their heads trying to figure out how to get to work and university. I have struggled since 2008 to find employment and have no funds to purchase a new vehicle.
This syndicate that steals vehicles for a living has no idea of how they destroy people’s lives.
