Woodridge boys unbeaten

THE Woodridge first boys’ hockey team have had an outstanding season this year, ending unbeaten in the Eastern Province.

The side recorded excellent wins over Grey, York and Kingswood and the only game they did not win was a 3-3 draw with St Andrew’s.

They ended off the season by winning the under-18 Eastern Province Knockout Cup by beating Pearson 3-1.

Thomas Hobson and Shawn Marsh were both selected for the Eastern Province u-18 side, with Hobson named captain of the team.
