THE ANC squabbling has become a sick joke. As a member of the Port Elizabeth community and a ratepayer, I feel the need to register not only my sadness, but also my dismay and unhappiness as I watch the total disintegration of our beautiful city.
It would appear the ANC has no regard for the welfare and wellbeing of the citizens of this metro. It appears arrogance and self importance come before the needs of this city.
Health, education, housing, cleaning, infrastructure maintenance and traffic, to name but a few of the departments, are seen by the "man in the street" to be ineffective and incompetent, and are definitely not giving the service that our constitution dictates for our citizens.
Until the ANC cleans up its dishonest deployees and employees, tender fraud, bribery and corruption are never going to be eradicated. Please stop the rot, stop enriching yourselves and think of the people!
Get this metro working as it should so we can once again be proud of it.
