Word and number fun

Reviewed by Catherine Richards

USUALLY fun and learning do not go in the same sentence, but experienced children's author Brenda Apsley has a new series where plenty of educational fun can be had.

Wipe-Clean Learning: Fun with Words and Wipe-Clean Learning: Fun with Numbers are excellent learning tools for children from the ages of three to eight years old.

Each book has 14 beautifully illustrated wipe-clean pages that will guarantee any child plenty of hours of fun.

Included are three write-on, dab-off colour pens.

Spelling is made easy with Fun with words. Each page has activities where children can learn to write simple words and get to know their A B Cs.

Fun with Numbers helps teach children to write numbers from one to 20, and count.

There are also easy additions and subtractions to do.

These books prove that early learning can be fun and it is a great tool to set the foundation for a successful school career.
