Place 'road closed' sign

WHO would ever believe that beyond a road warning sign that reads "flood damage" is a section of road that is totally flooded, as is the case on the new Seaview Road. We trust in the authorities clearly to demarcate whatever the problem is on our roads.

As a result of this incorrect signage, many motorists have had to endure the horror of having their cars totally submerged in water, and in many cases their cars most likely are going to be written off and at whose expense? I really hope that after The Herald write-ups, somebody will realise just how serious this situation is and correct the road signage from "flood damage" to "road closed as a result of flooding".

I live in Deer Park on the new Seaview Road and have seen many tow trucks towing away cars that have been totally flooded.
