Music 'ambassador' to play in Bay

BRAZILIAN DJ Rosa Ventura is one of 50 vibey performers lined up for a massive music festival to be held outside Port Elizabeth to mark World Peace Day next week.

Ventura sees herself as an ambassador for her "psy-trance" style on the dance floor and is a regular at Brazil's annual Earthdance music festival.

"I'm happy and counting the days for to Earthdance, see you on the dance floor!" said Ventura in an e-mail from her home base of Sao Paulo in South America.

The hostess of the radio Blast Energia 97FM has gained a cult following in her country for her creative mixes, strong tracks and energy, "where the result is always an inexplicable vibe".
