Blame lies with school

I FEEL very sorry for the parents as well as the truck driver ("Pupils mowed down by truck", September 12). The blame should lay with the school that should not have allowed children, of any age, to go outside of the school grounds unsupervised.

Where was the adult supervision? The children were killed because they were crossing the road unsupervised.

It is time that adults sit up and realise children don't think ahead or see danger they way adults do.

This accident and many others could have been avoided if there had been adult supervision.
