CALLIES could be one step closer to defending their PE Football Association Premier League title this evening when they host Forresters at Londt Park.
The defending league and cup champions are a point behind log-leaders Central Acemates but have a match in hand.
The first-round league match between Callies and Forresters was abandoned and the matter has not yet been resolved by the association.
Acemates must pick up maximum points against PE City at Victoria Park tomorrow to keep their hopes alive.

They will play Glenville in the semis on a date to be decided.
