Ceramic artist to hold workshop

ACCLAIMED international ceramic artist Daphne Corregan will host a two-day workshop at NMMU in Port Elizabeth this weekend.

Ceramic artist Delphine Niez helped to secure the multitalented artist as an awards judge and workshop presenter for Ceramics South Africa.

Corregan was born in the US but now lives in Europe where she has been teaching at the Art School in Monaco since 1989. She works in ceramics, glass and metals.

She will hold her workshop at the ceramic department at the Second Avenue campus on Saturday from 9am to 4pm and on Sunday from 9am to the conclusion.

The cost for Ceramics Southern Africa Eastern Cape members is R500 for two days and R300 for one day. Non-members: R600 for two days and R400 for one day.

A MORAL Dilemma is being staged by Westering Primary School tonight, tomorrow and Thursday. The production takes place in the school hall at 7pm. Stuart Reece will make a guest appearance singing his hit, Love Song.
