ON Sunday in church, Ashley passed me a cutting of my previous letter to The Herald where I stated we would play the All Blacks' lights out ("Boks out to hammer NZ", September 11). As he is not a Bok fan, I thought to remind him not to look at the scoreboard.
It was for the world to see that the Bokke were the best team on the day. If we add those almost 20 points we missed out on, then we all can smile because it would have been a win for us.
I just hope that the Boks will play at the Nelson Mandela Stadium as no team will ever beat the Bokke here. They need a break, and then it will be home advantage and I can guarantee those non-supporters that it will be a different ball game. Well done Bokke, well done.
