I WOULD like to express my shock and dismay at Khayalethu Geleba, a cleaner, being called a baboon by a white magistrate and dehumanised because he accidently scratched furniture ("Magistrate fights hate speech charge", September 11).
The day after the story was published there was no comment, letter or SMS from white readers to condemn this racist behaviour. Where are the white liberals who always occupy a high moral ground criticising the ANC government failures but never condemning one of their own?
I feel sorry for black DA members because they will forever be treated as inferior by their white counterparts.
I would like to appeal to some racist white people to stop provoking Africans by undermining our constitution and our right to live in free and democratic South Africa.
