AS Charlie Bucket, one of the characters in the production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, it was an amazing experience to work with such awesome people like Linda-Louis Swain and Sharon Rother. Every night was amazing and exciting as the curtain went up to start the play.
It was a privilege to perform in the oldest opera house in the southern hemisphere!
I want to thank everyone who came to watch, to all the children and teenagers who gave up their time to go to rehearsals every night, and all the backstage cast members who kept tight control over all the children. The biggest applause goes to Sharonand Linda-Louis for everything they did for us, for helping us on stage and for giving every child the confidence they needed to be able to go on stage.
I hope we will see lots more children on stage next year and they can also become "part of the old gang".
