Thanks for quick response on light

FOR 11 months a street light in Seventh Avenue, Summerstrand has not worked. This light is right opposite the entrance to a retirement village.

Despite several calls to our ward councillor and reporting the matter to the municipal "hot line", who in turn gave me a reference number and assurance that the matter would be dealt with, nothing happened!

On Monday September 10, I reported the matter to Marion Harning, a PR councillor for the ANC, who immediately contacted Peter Nielson, the acting director of electricity and energy. On Saturday night September 15, the light shone!
