NOW that the travesty that was Idols 8 is finally concluded, we can hopefully return to more entertaining programmes ("PE singer pipped at "Idols' post", October 3). I have yet to converse with someone who is not convinced the competition is manipulated by the organisers.
They should say at the outset that only certain race groups are wanted. This would save a lot of people the effort of wasting their time and undue humiliation from judges with overinflated opinions of self worth.
It was blatantly obvious who was going to win. I am sure the majority of DStv subscribers would rather watch repeats of the History Channel than the hogwash that is presented as a fair competition.
