NO MOVIE THEATRE ADVERTS

WHY are there only Nu Metro adverts in The Herald and why is it necessary for me to purchase Die Burger to check out what's on at Ster Kinekor?

MAC

STER Kinekor withdrew their advertising. They decided to concentrate on advertising on their website. – Bev Gaia, Avusa regional sales manager

REPLIES TO READERS' COMMENTS

I ECHO the sentiments of Margot Beard ("Should not be published", October 3). I lodged a complaint with The Herald who think it was OK!

J WRIGHT

BRENDA Galloway, don't bother judging our ANC leaders. Focus on attempts to train farm workers (following the closing of farm schools).

ANDRE

CHUCK Volpe, are you living on Mars? Who is killing who? For every Jew killed, 10 Palestinian children are killed.

REALISTIC

I AGREE totally with the man who sees barbarism all over in the country. There is more killing every day.

ROAD TO MANGAUNG

NO, Nceba Faku, it is not just Jacob Zuma who has failed us. The ANC has failed and if Zuma is elected again, the DA will govern sooner than you think.

ANONYMOUS

FAKU, you just lost the ANC another 38000 votes, you are a star.

SMASHCAKE

PRESIDENT Jacob Zuma is a joke, a cartoonist's dream.

STEVE, JEFFREYS BAY

COPE was formed after the change of leadership in Polokwane. Are we going to see another COPE-like organisation should Zuma win in Mangaung.

SANDI

GOVERNMENTS are like nappies – a regular change for similar reasons. I suggest Faku look in a mirror.

JOHN B

NOW Faku calls for change. Hah hah! Nothing will change except for one. There would be one first lady, and no "traditional womanising and corruption".

TSUNAMI

TO Mangaung! I suggest all our delegates must start at Polokwane for cleansing ritual! Our comrades are sick!

SOKIDO

HOW ironic, Nceba Faku blaming Jacob Zuma. What has Faku done for NMMM? Look at yourself first before blaming others.

BERNICE

THE front page picture of JZ looking upwards and sucking a lemon made my day. Unanswered prayer maybe?

FEZI D

MOVE for change: love him or hate him, but you must agree with Faku. The real change will be in 2014 though, a DA-led coalition.

'IDOLS' SEEN AS RACIAL CONTEST

I VOTED for Khaya as I loved his voice and humble personality. To me he was a better performer so I voted for him. And guess what? I am coloured!

READER

IDOLS was not racist, it was just South African.

JACQUI

INCREASE SENTENCE FOR RAPE

INCREASE Iain McLaggan's term to 20 years.

KINGS INTO SUPER RUBGY

CHEEKY Watson, forget the Force. I dare the Kings to play the Lions. Bring a calculator.

REMARKABLE DIFFERENCE AT TIP

WHAT a great, remarkable difference at Hunters tip – the manager friendly and helpful, and the area neat. Keep up with the good work.
