PE schools vie for honours in provincial drama event

TWO Port Elizabeth schools are among the top eight finalists vying for honours in the finals of the FNB Alexander Playhouse EC High School Drama Festival being held in East London's Guild Theatre.

Theatre personality Deon Opperman will adjudicate and select the top three productions to perform at a gala performance at the theatre on Friday.

The schools performing tonight are Cambridge, Gonubie and Hudson Park high schools, along with the combined entry of DSG/St Andrew's.

Tomorrow Collegiate, Pearson and Molteno high schools along with Queenstown GHS will perform.

Tickets for the finals are R15 and may be purchased at the Guild Theatre box office.
