AMAKOSI could have done better than to settle for a draw if they had made use of their chances ("Chiefs play to goalless draw", October 8). There were a lot of scoring opportunities during the first and second halves, but Lehlohonolo Majoro squandered lot of opportunities.
You cannot change the winning combination. The coach should have started with Kingston Nkatha as a striker, but he opted for Majoro.
Amakosi are still on top of the league with 17 points.
I want to appeal to Kaizer Motaung and Bobby Motaung to consider playing all their home games in the friendly city as the stadium was full of Kaizer Chiefs fans and Port Elizabeth is hungry for PSL games.
On Sunday I was glued to the TV at Patido's place and I was so elated to see Pirates beating Tuks, as they are now No2 in the PSL. Tuks were fired up with a lead from the start, and what I liked about the Buccaneers was they did not panic and played their game plan.
Patido was very elated to see his team coming back into style. They surprised their critics as we always tease Pirates fans when they lose but we maintain sportsmanship at Patido's place.
Pirates are now back in action and I can see them putting lot of pressure on the Amakosi. Well done to Pirates and a 3-1 win against a well-motivated team is a blessing to them.
