REPLIES TO READERS' COMMENTS

NIGEL, you clearly know nothing about the McLaggan case, so why comment?

TP

WELL said, Ed Gutsche. I also don't recognise Showerhead Zuma as my president. As you said, it is all about his lack of integrity and ethics.

D BEVIN

HEY Atheist, do you think it is easier to walk on the moon? Or to walk on water? The water walking seems a bit more down to earth to me.

POOR SPORTSMANSHIP IN BOOING HAKA

BOOING during the haka is an absolute disgrace! What blatant bad sportsmanship was displayed by Bok supporters! Sies!

SPORTS FAN

SPRINGBOK supporters show bad sportsmanship during the All Blacks haka and once again they pay the price.

EDWARD

AT last, it seems that most of the Boks' supporters realise that the All Blacks are worthy world champs.

OFFICIAL MADE THE SCAPEGOAT

DIRECTOR-general Bobby Soobrayen is being made the scapegoat for the inefficient minister, Angie Motshekga!

TOO MUCH BUILDING

WE seem to be building and building. In time to come animals will only have a small area to live. Enough is enough!

CYCLIST KILLED ON KRAGGA KAMMA ROAD

EXTREMELY insensitive and inaccurate reporting on one of the best loved personalities in Port Elizabeth, Clem Morris.

ROSS

YOUR picture of a body bag on Monday was nasty. You should join Die Son.

OUBOK

I AM so tired of readers complaining of "insensitive" reporting and photos in The Herald. This is a newspaper not a romantic novel!

DP

WHERE does The Herald get its reporters? The driver that allegedly killed the cyclist drove a VW Polo, not a Corolla. There was a picture in Die Burger of the car.

ANONYMOUS

SEE the front page matter of fact. All the information came from the police. – The editor

WANDERING BABOON SHOT DEAD

I AM very sad about the poor baboon, but I trust Arnold Slabbert's judgment. He would never ever destroy an animal if there was an alternative.

BIRDWATCHER

SO sad the baboon had to be killed. Why is that the only solution? We seem too eager to kill everything.

JAC, PORT ELIZABETH

THE baboon should have been darted. Not impressed with you, Arnold.

ESTELLE

WHERE are the game rangers paid by parks department? Surely they are qualified to dart and capture the poor baboon that was killed.

OBSERVER

WHAT if the baboon had attacked someone's dog, cat or even a child? Wild animals are unpredictable!

MA B

WE kill too easily in this country. The baboon could have been relocated.

PAUL

WAS it absolutely vital that you publish a picture of the dead baboon? The epitome of insensitivity. Shame on you!
