THE peaceful village of Redhouse will come alive tomorrow when local competitors take part in the annual Grey-Zwartkops Rowing Club (ZRC) Regatta.
The first post-Olympic fever clash and the start of the 2012-13 season, this regatta will see Eastern Cape high school teams battle it out over sprint distances of up to 2000m on the Zwartkops River. Grey High, ZRC, St Andrew's, DSG, Clarendon and Selborne will fill the lanes with races from beginners to determined under-19 rivals.
Racing gets under way from 7am. Spectators are welcome and entry is free.
