ROCK sensation and last year's Idols South Africa runner-up, Mark Haze, and his band will tour the Eastern Cape next week "the way the greats of rock 'n roll did it".
The tour which forms part of the Where Angels Fear to Fly album launch, will see the band returning to the Eastern Cape after a four-year-long absence and for the first time since he competed for the Idols title.
"The Garden Route and Eastern Cape would be the perfect tour! The trip up is beautiful and the people are by far the friendliest and accommodating people we've ever met on tour. So, we have our tour bus, crammed with our crew and management and a huge trailer for all our gear.
"We can't wait to be in your city," Haze said.
His latest single is proving to be very popular with Wake Up (Dreaming of You) climbing the local charts.
"It's a good sign when the audience joins in singing with you.
"Fans from shows from all over the country have been singing it with us since the day we first performed it," he said.
"You haven't seen a show until you've seen myself and my band perform."
The band will be rocking at The Music Kitchen in Newton Park, Port Elizabeth on Wednesday at 6pm.
They will be in East London at the Jam Shack Theatre on Thursday at 8pm.
Tickets are R100.
The group will also be performing in Jeffreys Bay and Mossel Bay.
