Training for the top level

THE newly established Bay Stars Football Academy looks likely to ensure the region's talented young players are awarded the best soccer career opportunities possible.

The SAB league regional affiliate academy was launched last month after the Safa Second Division provincial side Bay Stars bought the rights of Young Profession FC from the Zakhele Football Association.

The chief objective of the football academy is to identify, recruit and develop young players from the Nelson Mandela Bay region.
