IT is fast nearing the end of the year and the Missionvale Care Centre is preparing for Christmas and the New Year through various fundraising initiatives. Sadly there are those that use this time of year to pry on organisations like us and on good- hearted people like you.
We have had reports of a man collecting money in the Walmer area, stating he is collecting on our behalf. This is not the case. We never fundraise through telesales or door-to-door collections.
The Missionvale Care Centre is a non-profit organisation that relies 100% on funding to continue its vital services and it is very harmful to us when people pretend to raise funding for us that never reaches the poor.
