Fort Hare cancels its SRC elections

The University of Fort Hare (UFH) has cancelled this year's Student Representative Council (SRC) elections, saying it is not ready and cannot guarantee a free and fair SRC election.

This comes as the DA Student Organisation (Daso) won the right to participate in the elections.

Daso was barred from participation last year and again this year.
