WHAT always impresses me about Port Elizabethans is their generosity. It doesn't matter how down things are, they will help a brother.

In the wake of the floods, and all the loss of property and possessions, you find citizens rallying round in support. If each household donated a blanket and a pack of essential foodstuffs, it would make a big difference to those who lost everything – a great time to de-clutter.

You can deliver this to the South End fire station, Port Elizabethans doing it for each other. Cash donations are also welcome.
