EP and SWD vets excel

SOUTH Western Districts won three sections and Eastern Province two when the 12th annual veterans tennis quadrangular was held in Cradock recently.

Competing against teams from Border and Free State, SWD won the 140+, 190+ and 240+ divisions (combined ages), while EP won the 120+ and the 280+ age-groups.

Border were tops in the 130+ division and Free State took the 260+ section.

The last EP veterans tournament of the year will be held next Saturday at PE Club.

The match against Free State in PE on November 10 has been cancelled. – Neale Emslie
