Annual Bay road race

THE Builders Warehouse Challenge 27km, 10km and 5km road races are all set to take to the streets of Port Elizabeth next Saturday.

All three races start and finish at Builders Warehouse in Buffelsfontein Road with the 27km starting at 6am, the 10km at 6.30 and the 5km at 7.30.

The first 120 pre-entries received at Builders Warehouse between 1pm and 6pm from today to November 2 qualify for a sponsor's T-shirt.

Finishers in all three races will get event medals and will be eligible for lucky draw prizes. The school with the most pre-entries in the 5km event will win a maintenance voucher valued at R3000 and the runners-up will receive a voucher to the value of R2000. A minimum of 50 pre-entries is needed to qualify for these fantastic prizes. Pupils and families are welcome.

Pre-entries for groups close today at 5pm as no bulk entries will be accepted on the morning of the race.

Cansa has been nominated as the beneficiary by the sponsors and organising Club Triangle in memory of Anton Lindeque and Anton Rico Clotz,

Entry forms are available at sport shops. Pre-entries close on Wednesday. Registration and late entries will be at Builders Warehouse next Friday from 4.30 until 6pm and on the morning of the race from 5am.
