Six more kids barred from writing exam

ANGRY parents of six Grade 11 Ed-U-College pupils who were prevented from writing their maths second paper yesterday have voiced disgust at how the school handled the matter.

This comes after eight Grade 10 pupils were not allowed to write their life orientation paper on Friday due to their fees being in arrears.

Yesterday, the six pupils were issued with letters dated August 7. According to the letters, copies of which are in The Herald's possession, the parents are in arrears by R7400, R4865, R4170, R 4110, R3450 and R3330 respectively.

However, Lungelwa Msimango, whose child has been a pupil at the school, said the school had not communicated with her previously.
