Applications now not acknowledged

A LONG overdue education bulletin was issued by the Eastern Cape education department on September 30. It contains posts for post level one, two and three teachers (teachers, heads of departments and deputy principals).

For the first time ever, all applications have to be handed in at the district offices in Port Elizabeth and not sent to the schools concerned. What is most alarming is that the district office is giving no receipts as proof of your application/s.

Is this another ploy by certain corrupt officials to ensure jobs for friends again?

Surely the applicants should be given some sort of proof for which posts they applied!

Let's hope that our poor children are not the ones who lose out again.
