Despatch's winning streak is on the line

DESPATCH will be hard-pressed to maintain their unbeaten status, but will be determined to give Mecer NMMU1 a run for their money in EP Cricket Super A League action this weekend.

The Despatch side have not lost in four matches, but have admittedly played against weaker opposition.

They sneaked home by two wickets against United Brothers at the weekend, led by an unbeaten 66 from Mario Venter and a solid allround performance from veteran Nigel Brouwers.

Despatch will be hoping for similar performances from their experienced duo as they attempt an upset. The students, although without their EP players, have enough in depth to get by.
