WHAT is reported in The Herald has been going on for years at that institution ("Bay pupils 'kicked out of exam'", October 29).
I had the misfortune of registering my child there last year. The experiences I had there are best forgotten!
I can feel for those kids and their parents. My kid used to come home wet with tears because she had been denied access to school because I "hadn't paid her fees".
I would wonder how do I pay when my debit order due date is weeks away? You would go to their offices and be sent from pillar to post till you realised that those people were less concerned with their core business of teaching than with money.
A time will come when the poor black parents who are led to believe that institution is of service to their needy kids will stop taking their children there and I will wait with patience to see who will be Ed-U-College's cash cow then.
By the way, when last did they have their performance scrutinised?
