Great hits from the '60s to the present

11 November 2012
HIGHLY acclaimed entertainer and impressionist Jayson King, regular Boardwalk diva Charmaine Allison, creative blues singer Lelane Fourie, and former Syndicate Sister Beverley Alexander will be sharing the stage as the Great Pretenders for two nights only next week.

For the first time ever King, Allison and Alexander will be performing at the Boardwalk Amphitheatre on November 16 and 17 at 8pm.

The show will feature hits from the '60s right through to today's greatest hits, appealing to all age groups with universally recognisable and timeless songs, King says.

The divas from the Great Pretenders will be paying tribute to Diana Ross, The Supremes, The Dixie Cups, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Cher and The Shirelles with some knock-out performances.

The male cast of the Great Pretenders will not disappoint with their soulful a cappella songs, taking the audience back to the music of the early '60s .

Tickets can be purchased from Computicket for R80 or at the door for R100.
