Where are politicians like Mandela today?

SCANDALS, mismanagement, political assassinations, poverty, poor service delivery and infighting are just about the norm associated with the ruling party.

Where have all the good men and women gone?

Now it's about wealth accumulation and flashy cars, and all that's not right.

Nelson Mandela and his era of good men and their sacrifices are all but gone and forgotten. Sad that we all had these high hopes for a new nation with statesmen that were there for the people.

We voted with our hearts in the belief that things would change for the better.

We believed in the freedom that it was supposed to bring.

We need people in government who will look out for the ordinary man in the street, work tirelessly to ensure a better future for all.

We don't need people only interested in their own wellbeing and forsaking the very people that they are supposed to serve. It's an injustice.
