Win fantastic prizes with The Herald and Reach-for-a-dream Foundation Matric dress competion

THERE are some fantastic prizes in The Herald and Reach for a Dream's fantastic Wear Your Dream matric dress competition – worth more than R50000.

So far the most entries have been in the"Designer" category, where matrics have been hiring and buying a rainbow of designer numbers for their big night out. However, whatever your style – or budget – there is a chance to win great prizes as the competition includes a category for "homemade” dresses as well.

A judging panel will select 30 gorgeous dresses to feature in La Femme and the girls who chose them will get the chance to "wear their dream” once more at a sparkling gala evening on November 16 at Running Waters Wedding and Conference Centre in Kragga Kamma.

Prizes for the winners in three categories include jewellery, professional photo shoots, weekends away in the Tsitsikama, beauty and skincare pampering, spa and meal vouchers.

The Reach for a Dream Foundation fulfills the dreams of children living with a life-threatening or life-changing illness so this competition is held with a twofold aim: to showcase the evening wear worn to matric farewells in the Bay area and also to raise funds for Reach for a Dream.

You may enter a dress in one of the following categories:

Home made (made by a non-professional);
Designer made: hired;
Bought (designer or retail).

Entries for the competition close on October 10and each form must be accompanied by a donation of R50 to fund dreams for needy children.
