Boardwalk: official in zoning probe

NELSON Mandela Bay councillors are gunning for the official who gave the go-ahead for the Boardwalk to transgress the city's zoning regulations for its R1-billion upgrade.

They are demanding that the municipality launches a full-scale investigation and that the perpetrator be brought to book.

The councillors also want the municipal official who bypassed the human settlements committee and went directly to mayor Zanoxolo Wayile to approve the Blue Horizon wind farm application to be disciplined.

How does a project worth R1 billion escape the Metro`s town planners,the culprit shouldn`t be hard to find,ask the construction company they would have his signature on the paperwork!
