A RECENTLY released parolee is one of two people arrested for the murder of a Kwazakhele man whose throat was slit because of an apparent love triangle.
Lulama Mangi, 29, originally of Seyisi Street in Kwazakhele, was murdered in NU29, Motherwell, on December 23, following a dispute over a girlfriend.
Two men - Lifa Fulani and Michael Nkuna, both 28 - appeared in the Motherwell Magistrate's Court yesterday where they applied for bail. The two men are due back in court next week.
Police spokeswoman Warrant Officer Thembi Gwe confirmed Fulani was released on parole for armed robbery, two weeks before Lulama's murder. She said the suspects faced a charge of murder and the police were continuing with their search for a third suspect.
