Gangland hits kill man, injure three others

A MAN was killed and another wounded after being shot in Gelvandale yesterday, the second gang-related shooting in Port Elizabeth's northern areas in 24 hours.

And last night a 26-year-old man was hit by a stray bullet as he was coming home from church in Gelvandale when alleged gangsters opened fire on a man it is suspected belonged to a rival group.

In the first incident Renaldo Bruintjies, 44, was shot five times in the upper body and Renio Jones, 19, was shot in the leg. On Wednesday Bethelsdorp resident Dean Gallant, due to give evidence in two murder trials, was gunned down.
