Firearms, ammunition recovered in St Albans

SEVERAL firearms including automatic rifles as well as thousands of rounds of ammunition were recovered on a small holding in St Albans during the early hours of this morning.

Some of the firearms are believed to be of military grade.

One person was arrested on the farm for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition. The suspect is currently being detained at Kabega Park Police Station for questioning.
