Couple's wedding day bomb terror

POLICE and extra security were called in to monitor the wedding of a controversial Port Elizabeth couple at the weekend after a petrol bomb was set off outside the groom's house hours before the couple tied the knot.

Distraught security company owner Trevor Wilson, 37, said the attack at his Sara Avenue, Bluewater Bay, home had been fuelled by jealousy and hatred.

Wilson married Shireen Ballan, 36, at Georgiou Boutique Hotel and Spa in Kragga Kamma Road, on Saturday afternoon.

Hours earlier, Wilson's brotherin-law's bakkie was badly damaged in the petrol-bombing.
