Finishing school pupils query repeated low marks, lack of results

A NUMBER of pupils from Nelson Mandela Bay finishing schools are still waiting for their matric results while others are questioning the credibility of their marks, which appeared to be exactly the same as the previous year.

The repeat pupils from the Siphenathi and Iqhayiya finishing schools in New Brighton are demanding either a free re-mark of their exam papers or to be given their scripts to look over. This came after their 2013 results reflected the same marks as in 2012. Some have not even received their results.

The Eastern Cape Education Department said it was unaware of any concerns with results, but principals said they endured the problem every year.
