Life of luxury ends for drug accused

ONCE known for his extravagant lifestyle, alleged drug dealer Livingstone Makasholo has become so poor that he no longer has funds to cover legal expenses.

The dramatic change in circumstances came after millions of rands of his assets were seized by legal authorities.

This was revealed yesterday in the Port Elizabeth High Court when Makasholo's attorney, Alwyn Griebenow, said he would remain attorney of record and instructing attorney pro bono until the matter was finalised. The matter continues today.
