TWO men were wounded in a suspected gang attack in Port Elizabeth's northern areas on Tuesday.
Police spokeswoman Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg said the two - aged 20 and 25 - were shot while standing at the intersection of Springbok and Beaton streets in Gelvandale at about 10pm.
Their names are being withheld for their safety.
Janse van Rensburg said a white vehicle passed the men before stopping further down the road. A man got out and approached them. As he neared the men he drew a firearm and began shooting.
One man was shot once in the leg and the other was shot three times in the leg and buttocks. They were take to Livingstone Hospital. - Gareth Wilson
